Parker Bros. Powersports KTM Toronto is your GTA leader in motorcycle sales for all types of bikes, parts, accessories and riding gear.
We are a very family oriented store and hope to make your shopping experience very friendly. The store is owned by David Grummett. David was a top Canadian Roadracer with a number of professional championships to his credit. David also spent 16 years with the Fast Riding School as a senior instructor and raced supermoto too. Most of his present riding is spent adventure touring or off-road riding. David also has the distinction of being one of the few to finish the Paris Dacre Rally. David's wife Jill enjoys street riding on a KTM 690 or off-roading on a 250 XCFW. Allison has the distinction of being the 1st girl and youngest competitor to finish the gruelling Paris Dacre Rally ( a 1 day replica of the real Paris Dakar involving 810 km off road from Paris Ontario to Dacre Ontario). She has also been twice voted Top Rider at the Fast Riding School. Kyle races MX and Enduros. Meg is a competitive dancer who often sheds her tutu to kick some boys @ss at MX. All 3 kids supermoto race. The family dog, an Airdale terrier is appropriately named Harley because when she was little she was bkack & orange and used to leak alot.
Parker Bros. was openned in Toronto in 1992 as an accessory store only. It was a branch of Parker Bros. in Windsor and Detroit. In 1994 David bought the store from Bruce Parker. Bruce had developed a new line of clothing called Joe Rocket. At this time Bruce wanted to concentrate on the wholesale business and needed to remove himself from the retail end. Needless to say he has done very well and has taken Joe Rocket from our house brand to a very successful international line of MC wear.
In 2004 Parker Bros moved 4 doors west on Dundas to the a bigger store and took on the KTM brand. Since then we have been given a number of KTM Awards including #1 Customer Service, #1 Marketing, #1 LC8 Sales and #1 Parts & Accessory Sales.
On May 1st 2009 Parker Bros once again out grew its Dundas St. home and packed up and moved to the new digs at 825 Kipling Ave. The new world headquarters is on the east side of Kipling between Advance and Norsman.
